This year’s August one day run will be held on the 25th August starting at the Wemyss Bay Ferry terminal at 09.30, ferry leaves at 10.15,
Heading to the Isle of Bute and on to Mount Stuart House. A guided tour of the house followed by lunch of either, Soup and Roll or Sunday Carvery.
The Caledonian Centre has attended every event here since it’s revival.
The event too has grown and now includes runs on the Saturday, possibly a dinner in the evening, and the full classic car show on the Sunday with the Classic car only hill climb running on both days over the weekend.Find out more »
A visit to Duns and the Jim Clark Trust’s newly refurbished museum is seen by some as a pilgrimage!
Jim Clark is widely regarded as one of the greatest and naturally gifted motor racing drivers of all time, a national hero for Scotland and international icon of the 1960s.
We will meet at Legends Coffee House at the Wallace Monument for a breakfast roll and coffee or tea, then take a trip via mini-bus up to the monument and its three exhibition floors and to the top 264 steps for the view.
