Our annual Dreadnought Technical Day was attended by most of the usual suspects & one or two new faces. After a bargain basement lunch ( £9.95 for three courses) at the Old Rectory we all made our way to the garage.
There the main focus was on Paul’s newbuild ZR 170 race car with Brian explaining what small tweaks they might incorporate to give them a further edge this year. He also explained the reason for the series of brake problems Paul encountered last season!
Then it was onto a members MGF (unfortunately slightly damaged in the car park!) and the ‘work’s van’, the ZR Express.
With the usual fund of technical stories and a divergence onto Donald Campbell and power boat racing it was a good , if slightly chilly, afternoon.
Thanks again to Brian & the family.
