From here we wind our way above the famous Rest and be Thankful. Unfortunately, on this occasion we cannot actually go up the hill due to it being the middle of the farming season but we have a view from the top of the hill with a nice coffee stop to take in the sights.
Carrying on we pass some of the most beautiful lochs and glens in Argyll, with views of the Isle of Mull over the Firth of Lorne.
On the outskirts of Oban there are many places to visit and grab a bite. If you fancy a tipple (navigators only please) Oban itself even has a distillery to explore in the town. Cleverly named the Oban Distillery – wonder where they came up with the name?
This promises to be a very breath taking day, taking in some of the most beautiful parts of Argyll and Bute.
So why not sign up and join us as we hope this will be a popular run.
