This was one of the toughest categories for the judges, with 13 different clubs shortlisted for outstanding initiatives over the past year. But in the end the MG Car Club was praised for its work on MGLive! and for using its size to make sure that its members are well supported. The judges were impressed by the clubs new archive at its Abingdon headquarters – bring together together more than nine decades of MG documents for the first time – and its relaunched Safety Fast magazine. Receiving the award, club general manager Adam Sloman praised the club’s amazing membership and the wide range of classics they owned, and said he was proud of his Kimber House colleagues.
